Terms of Service
Agabang & Company places great importance on the protection of customers’ personal information and operates these Terms of Service to provide safe and convenient services.
These Terms set forth the basic requirements necessary for using online services and establish standards for protecting users’ rights.
Article (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Agabang & Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and users with respect to various services provided by the Company, as well as other necessary matters.
Article (Definitions)
The definitions of key terms used in these Terms are as follows:
➀ “Service” means various goods and information provided by the Company.
➁ “Site” refers to the Company’s official website and brand-specific websites operated by the Company.
➂ “User” means any person who can access the Company’s sites, including both members and non-members.
➃ “Member” means an individual who has entered into an agreement with the Company by agreeing to these Terms and other policies, and who is eligible to use the services provided by the Company.
➄ “Non-member” means an individual who can use part of the services provided by the Company without registering as a member.
➅ “ID (Identification)” means a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member and approved by the Company for the identification of the member and use of the services.
➆ “Password” means a combination of letters and numbers determined by the member to verify identity and protect privacy corresponding to the assigned ID.
➇ “Points” refer to reward points provided by the Company or its affiliates, which can be accumulated or used when purchasing goods/services.
➈ “Mileage” refers to reward credits that can be accumulated or used when purchasing goods/services from the Company’s online store, Agabang Mall.
➉ “Partner Stores” refer to shops or third-party companies that have entered into a points-affiliation agreement with the Company.
⑪ “Membership Site” means the Company’s online website where members can access membership services.
Article (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)
➀ These Terms and relevant policies are posted on the Company’s websites so that users can review them at any time.
➁ The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by law, and in such cases, will announce the effective date and reasons for the amendment at least seven days prior to the effective date.
➂ If the Company makes significant changes that may adversely affect users, it will provide sufficient notice in advance.
➃ Users who do not agree to the amended Terms may terminate their service use; continued use after the effective date constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.
Article (Integrated Operation)
The Company may operate its brand websites and other sites in an integrated manner. When registering as a member, the Company notifies users of such integrated operation. Members may log in and use various Company-operated websites and online malls with the same ID and password.
Article (Membership Registration)
➀ A person who wishes to become a member or non-member (hereinafter referred to as the “Applicant”) shall complete a service use agreement when the Company approves the following procedures:
(a) Consent to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
(b) Identity verification process
(c) Completion of membership application form
➁ The Company, in principle, approves the service use application submitted by the Applicant under the preceding paragraph. However, the Company may reject the application in the following cases:
(a) If the Applicant is under the age of
(b) If the Applicant is not using their real name or is using another person’s name
(c) If false information is entered
(d) If the Applicant has previously lost membership due to violation of Company policies
(e) If the Company cannot approve due to reasons attributable to the Applicant
(f) If other application requirements prescribed by the Company are not met
➂ When a member uses certain specific services, the Company may request an additional registration process.
➃ Members can access the site and use services by logging in with their unique ID and password.
➄ The Company may withhold approval if there is insufficient system capacity or technical/operational difficulties.
Article (Changes to Member Information)
➀ Members may view and modify their personal information at any time through:
(a) The “My Page” or personal information management section on the site
(b) By contacting the customer service center
➁ Members cannot change key personal details such as their real name or ID. However, in exceptional cases supported by an official decision from a credible institution, modifications may be made upon verification.
➂ The Company is not responsible for any disadvantages arising from a member’s failure to provide accurate information.
Article (Obligations for Personal Information Protection)
➀ The Company strives to protect members’ personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws. Detailed matters shall be governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy.
➁ The Company’s Privacy Policy does not apply to external sites (including linked websites) operated by third parties, and the Company assumes no legal responsibility for any issues arising therefrom.
Article (Member’s Responsibility for Managing Personal Information)
➀ Members must take care to prevent the leakage of their personal information. In particular, members are solely responsible for managing their IDs and passwords and must not disclose them to any third party.
➁ If a member becomes aware that their ID or password has been stolen or is being used by a third party, they must immediately notify the Company and follow the Company’s guidance.
➂ Members should change their passwords periodically or whenever necessary to prevent leakage.
➃ The Company shall not be held responsible for any disadvantage arising from the member’s neglect of obligations under paragraph ➁ or ➂ of this Article.
Article (Notification to Members)
➀ The Company may notify members of various matters using one or more of the following methods:
(a) E-mail
(b) Written notice
(c) SMS or other electronic transmission methods
(d) Posting notices in stores or partner locations
➁ For notifications applicable to all members, the Company may substitute individual notice by posting the relevant content on the Company’s website notice board for a reasonable period.
Article (Provision of Services)
➀ The Company provides members with the following services:
(a) Inquiry and management of points/mileage
(b) Customer service (C/S) and after-sales service (A/S) for products purchased at brand stores and online malls
(c) Any additional services developed by the Company or provided through partnerships with other companies
➁ Non-members may be offered opportunities to participate in events or use other services approved by the Company. However, non-members cannot access services exclusive to members.
➂ In principle, the Company provides services hours a day, days a year. However, the Company may temporarily suspend services in the following cases:
(a) Regular or emergency maintenance, replacement, or malfunction of IT systems
(b) Communication failure or other significant operational reasons
(c) Emergency circumstances requiring immediate action

If advance notice is possible, the Company shall notify users in advance in accordance with Article . In urgent cases, notice will be provided as soon as the Company becomes aware of the situation.

➃ Users may not claim compensation from the Company for suspension of services under the preceding paragraph.
➄ Payment for goods purchased through Company stores or online malls may be made using any of the following available methods:
(1) Prepaid cards, debit cards, credit cards, and other card payments
(2) Online bank transfer
(3) Other electronic payment methods recognized by the Company
Article (Changes to Services)
➀ The Company may change all or part of the services provided for policy or technical reasons if it has a justifiable reason.
➁ If there are any changes to the contents, methods, or times of service use, the Company shall post details of the changes — including reasons, new contents, and effective date — on the website prior to implementation.
➂ The Company shall not be obligated to provide compensation for such service changes to members.
Article (Points and Mileage ‒ Accumulation, Use, and Expiration)
➀ Methods of accumulating points/mileage are as follows:
(a) Points can be accumulated when a member purchases a product at a Company store or partner store and the transaction matches the registered member information. Points accumulated on the day of purchase can be used from the next day, and accumulation is available only at offline stores. Mileage can be accumulated when a member purchases on Agabang Mall and is credited upon purchase confirmation.
(b) Members can check their accumulated points on the Agabang & Company website and mileage on the Agabang Mall website.
(c) If an error occurs in point/mileage accumulation, members must request correction within days from the date of occurrence. The Company shall complete the correction within days of receiving the request, and members must present proof of purchase (receipt or equivalent).
➁ Methods of using points/mileage are as follows:
(a) Points can be used in units of , points at stores or partner locations like cash. One point equals one Korean won (₩), and points cannot be exchanged for cash.
(b) Mileage can be used on Agabang Mall in units of one () mileage point for purchases of ₩ , or more. One mileage point equals one Korean won (₩), and mileage cannot be exchanged for cash.
➂ Expiration and usage rules for points/mileage are as follows:
(a) The validity period of accumulated points is two () years from the final purchase date, and the validity period of mileage is days from the date of accumulation.
(b) Points/mileage are used in order of earliest expiration. Any unused points/mileage will expire upon termination of the validity period or service contract.
(c) Points/mileage distributed through marketing or promotions may have separately defined expiration periods.
(d) Upon membership withdrawal, all remaining points/mileage will be automatically forfeited.
Article (Termination of Membership Service)
➀ If the Company intends to terminate the membership service, it shall notify members at least three () months in advance using one or more methods outlined in Article .
➁ After the termination date, members cannot accumulate new points/mileage at the Company or partner stores. Accumulated points/mileage must be used by the deadline specified by the Company according to these Terms; unused points/mileage after service termination will expire automatically.
Article (Obligations of the Company)
➀ The Company shall comply with applicable laws and these Terms.
➁ The Company shall make its best efforts to ensure stable and continuous service provision.
➂ The Company shall establish a secure system to protect members’ personal information and operate a Privacy Policy for efficient management.
Article (Obligations of Members)
➀ Members shall not engage in any of the following acts:
(a) Registering false information during membership application or personal information updates
(b) Stealing or collecting another person’s information
(c) Causing or attempting to cause errors in the Company’s information and communication network
(d) Illegally copying, transmitting, or using the Company’s information
(e) Infringing upon the copyrights of third parties
(f) Damaging the reputation of the Company or any third party, or interfering with their business
(g) Posting obscene, violent, or otherwise offensive materials that violate public morals
(h) Posting commercial or promotional content without the Company’s prior consent
(i) Violating obligations specified in these Terms
(j) Engaging in any other illegal or improper acts
➁ Members must comply with these Terms, the Privacy Policy, notices published by the Company, and relevant laws and regulations.
➂ If a member violates paragraphs ➀ or ➁ of this Article and causes a dispute, the member shall bear full responsibility.
Article (Membership Withdrawal and Disqualification)
➀ Members may request withdrawal at any time through the membership website. The Company shall promptly process the withdrawal upon the member’s request.
➁ The Company may suspend or terminate a member’s qualification if any of the following apply:
(a) The member has provided false information upon registration.
(b) The member accumulates or uses points/mileage fraudulently or uses the membership for improper purposes.
  - “Fraudulent accumulation” refers to using another person’s purchase history to accumulate or use points.
  - Fraudulently accumulated points shall be forfeited immediately upon notice of disqualification, and the member shall have no right to claim them.
  - If a member or accomplice obtains undue benefit (e.g., by purchasing with fraudulently accumulated points), both parties shall bear civil and criminal liability.
(c) The member is deceased.
(d) The member interferes with other members’ online services or disrupts electronic transactions.
(e) The member’s actions damage the public image of the Company.
(f) The member violates obligations specified in these Terms.
➂ Membership withdrawal or disqualification under paragraph ➀ or ➁ shall be finalized as follows:
(a) Withdrawal or disqualification becomes effective on the date of withdrawal request or notification of disqualification, and all remaining points/mileage shall be automatically forfeited.
(b) In the event of death, membership disqualification becomes effective on the date of the member’s death.
➃ Information of members disqualified under paragraph ➁ due to fraudulent accumulation or use will be retained for two () years from the date of disqualification to prevent service abuse and protect other members from potential damage. During this period, re-registration and membership service use are prohibited.
➄ A member disqualified under paragraph ➁ may file an objection within thirty ( ) days from the date of receiving the Company’s notification. If the Company deems the member’s explanation valid upon review, the member’s qualification may be reinstated, allowing continued normal service use.
Article (Provision of Information)
➀ The Company may provide members with various types of information using the methods described in Article . Members may opt out of receiving advertising information at any time.
➁ The Company may send promotional e-mails or SMS messages to members, and members may opt out of receiving such messages at any time.
Article (Copyright Ownership and Usage Restrictions)
➀ All copyrights and intellectual property rights to works created by the Company belong to the Company.
➁ Members shall not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, or broadcast any information obtained through the website for commercial purposes, nor allow third parties to do so, without the Company’s prior written consent.
➂ Members are fully responsible for the content they post, including any civil or criminal liabilities arising from copyright infringement.
➃ If the Company uses content that belongs to a user under these Terms, the Company shall notify the user.
➄ The Company reserves the right to edit or move content within the scope that does not alter its original meaning and may delete content without prior notice in the following cases:
(a) The post violates these Terms, is commercial, illegal, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.
(b) The content exceeds the posting period or storage limit set by the Company.
(c) The content violates public order or good morals, or is associated with criminal activity.
(d) The content infringes upon third-party copyrights or other rights.
(e) The post was made by a withdrawn member.
(f) The content violates any applicable law or regulation.
Article (Disclaimer)
➀ The Company shall not be liable for service interruptions or damages caused by reasons attributable to members or third parties.
➁ The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from computer errors or the member’s incorrect entry of personal information.
➂ The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or legality of any information or materials created by members.
➃ The Company is not responsible for any damages caused by members leaking or sharing their personal information with others.
➄ The Company is not liable for any transactions or information sharing between members and third-party websites linked through the membership site.
➅ The Company does not guarantee the safety or accuracy of products sold by third-party vendors featured on the membership site and bears no liability regarding such products.
➆ The Company may temporarily suspend operation of the membership site for system maintenance or replacement. In such cases, the Company shall post a notice at least seven () days in advance on the membership site. However, in urgent cases (e.g., network hacking), operations may be suspended without prior notice.
Article (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
➀ Any disputes arising between the Company and members shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
➁ Any litigation related to disputes between the Company and members shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction over the Company’s principal office.
Addendum
These Terms shall take effect from November , , and the previous Terms shall be replaced by this version.
